San Diego Green Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner - White Vinegar as a Clothing Stain Remover!

No doubt we’ve all heard about the miracles of white vinegar as a: cleaner, deodorizer, and stain remover. But let’s take a closer look at some of the stain that it can remove from clothing and how!

  • Coffee and tea: for these types of stains that have already set in you will need to: soak item in a solution of 1/3 cup of vinegar to 2/3 cup of water. Then hand to dry, preferably in the sun. However be mindful of how log to prevent a bleaching effect from the sun’s rays.
  • Grass: These tricky stains that are a constant on children’s cloths can be eliminated by soaking in full strength white vinegar for about 30min before washing.
  • Gum: We have all been there I’m sure, fighting with a piece of gum stuck on to clothing. Well if a residue remains after the removal of the gum, soak the stain in full strength vinegar for 10-15 min. Then launder as usual.
  • Juice: Dried red juice stains may seem impossible, however that isn’t the case! They may be removed from garments that are bleach-safe by soaking it in a solution of 1/3 vinegar and 2/3 water. After which you can wash as usual.
